I used to be able to go to Microsofts site and download my updates for Windows XP Home Edition but now it tells me an administrator must do it. I am the administrator but it no longer recognizes my user name or password. It used to do the updates automatically and I can't figure out what happened. Has anyone experienced this same thing? I'm open and appreciate any help out there.

If you can't remember the administrator password, here is a page that should help with that: http://www.petri.co....or_password.htm

I just downloaded that ebcd on to a cd. When I try to open it it says that the extension isn't able to be read. I'm not sure what to do with it now that I have it. Have you ever used it?
