**UPDATE: I SCANNED WITH PEST PATROL IN SAFE MODE -- IT FOUND NOTHING!? HELP!**

Hi everyone. During a spyware/malware scan with AdAware as well as PestPatrol, I get a Blue Screen of Death. It always happens for this one pest. However, I can never catch the name of it because as soon as I see something is added to the list of pests found, almost instantaneously it goes to the BSOD.

In the BSOD, it says the cause is a Page in a Non Paged Area, or something along those lines. Right now I am scanning with TrojanHunter, and will let you know if I find something with it.

I also have noticed when I upgraded my firewall (ZoneAlarm Pro) to version 5, I noticed a lot of slowdowns and the WindowsXP theme reverting to the Windows Classic theme that can only be reset by restarting Windows. I don't know if this is related to the spyware or not. I also notice that my internet has not been acting normally, and no one else is experiencing this as I checked my ISP forum at dslreports.com

Here is my HiJackThis! log

No thanks to anyone here, I fixed the problem myself a few days ago. Still, no one has replied to this god damn thread! Holy fuck.

The problem was corrupted Windows files. I corrected this by going to Start, Run, then typing in sfc /scannow

Hopefully someone will have some use of this information one day.

Bye for now.
