I've removed these 2 problems through reading all the posts here, and would like to know if I've done it right and if everything looks ok. Thanks for any help you can give!

Hi,

Actually, your log looks fine. :D In order to keep it that way, I suggest you take a few minutes to read the short article, "How did I get infected in the first place?" (See link in my signature below). It has a lot of good information about keeping your system free of malware, and you'll find links to excellent free anti-spyware tools.

If you're currently not using a firewall other than XP's native firewall, then please take advantage of one of the free firewalls in the links below. The XP firewall is okay for protection against incoming baddies, but does nothing to warn you if something bad on your system is trying to "phone home."
