I just recently had to clean out a trojan that got past Norton. Everything is running fine except occasionally a opo-up ad will appear when I open IE. The pop up adress is http://www.00z70az77...m/go.php?l=0016
Its not a major problem (I dont think), just an annoyance. Here is the HJT log:

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

Reboot and delete

files
C:\WINNT\system32\bridge.dll
C:\WINNT\system32\SO97VM.exe

These may be hidden files. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

Please post a followup Hijack this log, and say if your problems persist.

Ok, I followed thru the steps.

The "SO97VM" line was not there, so I couldnt delete it.
When I rebooted, neither of the files were there.

So, far the problem seems to be gone.

Thanx muchly :D
