Hallo friends,
I have a problem with running web brouser like firefox, along with any applications like winamp, yahoo messenger, and any program including 3D archetect, etc.
for eg-
When I was opening the techimo.com page, some contents of the page loaded and stuck, The Comodo firewall said-
["Firefox is trying to connect to the internet. to 202.63.175.11 Port: dns(53) - UPD
C:\Program Files\Winamp.exe has tries to use Parent application explorer.exe through OLE Automation, which can be used to hijack other applications. winamp.exe may be using explorer.exe to conceal its behavior in an attempt to connect to the Internet with firefox.exe."]

Even if I have already permanently allowed the firefox brouser, various firewall alerts come up. Yahoo is also permanently allowed, and so are the other default net applications. This particular example above is regarding winamp when I was playing songs while surfing the net. But yahoo messenger also does the same by launching some idle.dll , and via via it does the same thing to firefox and I need to allow it to access the pages. . Many previously opened applications, that has no reason connecting net does the same. for e.g. 3D Architect.
What problem is, at any browser click of any web page, this firewall alert occur and it does not allow the page to open until I press 'allow' to such alerts.
The particular firewall alert I showed above was given by Comodo firewall, while opening the techimo forums. And it didn't allow me to get here unless I clicked 'allow'. There is no connection of winamp to techimo forums, but still I have to allow it to access it.
For opening the spywareinfo.com also took to face such alert.
Why are various applications trying to access the net through the browser? How to block them permanently, without affecting my website's access?
see you soon, thank you, Ketan.

Hallo :(
Latest thing. I am getting same kind of firewall alert other than firefox too.

This time it said- Winamp.exe is trying to use parent application explorer.exe to access the net with yahooMessenger.
I denied it, and yahoo messenger disconnected.

why is this happening?
Is there a way to stop it?
see you soon please help me,,. :(

Probably because you have yahoo set to play show which files you are playing in winamp. You can change those settings in your messenger.

Hallo friends,
I have still not solved this problem. It is the Comodo firewall that detects the application hijack. I have blocked winamp completely through firewall, still it tries to connect through Yahoo, Firefox, even BitComet. If I deny it, those applications get dissconnected. Yahoo disconnects, firefox gets blocked, bitcomet gets blocked, until I restart them.
Is this a new dirty spy trick programmed by winamp?
How can I stop it from doing it?

And I also saw a few other applications hijacking other applications in same way.

see you soon, sincerely.

Again,
this time,
BitComet that is already connected to net,- 'Bitcomet is trying to connect to the net', 'Winamp has tried to use the OLE application, this can happen when the program is trying to hijack other applications. And when I do not'. Right now this is happening immediately when I click on any song from a folder to play.
And when I leave it like that by not clicking on 'Allow' or 'Deny', it disconnects all the applications that are using the net.

please tell me if someone knows about this.
see you. thanks.
