Hello, I am new here and hopefully I am doing this right. I have read the FAQ page and have used Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D for the 1st time during this past week. As far as those programs are concerned my system is no longer hijacked but I'm still suffering the effects of it. I was trying to click on a movie theme song midi link on someone's website while being bombarded with pop-ups at the same time and it got me. Isearch and bargain something or other took over. Anyway my main problem now is not being able to search from the address bar in Internet Explorer 6. Even when I change the settings in tools I keep getting this "page cannot be found" nonsense with this % gibberish in the address bar. This is driving me insane! I've even reinstalled IE6 in hopes of restoring the defaults but to no avail. I've searched for hours during the last few days on Microsoft's community help pages hoping to find a fix and it led me here. I have a Highjack this log ready to post if needed. Any help on this subject is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Regards,
BooRufus
