      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

having some trouble with adware/malware

3 posts in this topic

i've done just about everything i can think of to get rid of it, but can't seem to figure out what's actually causing all of these IE pop-ups. they generally occur when i open a new tab in firefox, or go to a different website when i'm surfing the web. it'd be only seriously annoying, but half of the popups fail to resolve the URL they're pointed at, and then cascade open 40-50 IE windows, which results in my computer crashing. at this point, i don't have any clue what could be doing it. any help would be really appreciated.

edit: this might help. this site keeps on popping up when i open new webpages. for example, i went to check a fantasy baseball league and i got this: http://url.cpvfeed.com/cpv.jsp?p=110830&am...stingId=6363396

i can't find anything useful on cpvfeed, though, or how to remove it/what it runs as.

oh, and another thing that's an issue: for some reason i keep getting ads/radio/tv program audio without any apparently open program. it's freakin' weird, and makes it impossible to use ITunes and whatnot.
