      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

iexplore.exe and HJT Logfile - Duplicate Deleted...

2 posts in this topic

Edit: Duplicate Topic deleted... Please stick to 1 Topic per computer...

I recently got clued in to a possible spyware issue when I tried to install an Adobe product and the install failed because I "needed to close IE." I checked for a hung process and saw iexplore.exe running, which I killed. Lo and behold, it immediately appeared again.

Hit Google and everything points to spyware. I ran every utility under the sun including:

-Avast AV

-TrendMicro HouseCall

-Windows Defender

-Ad Aware

-Spybot

I came up dry--there are no symptoms other than this file running constantly w/o IE open and my inability to install software.

If one of you guys can make anything of this, I would appreciate it.
