What is a good program or method to backup Firefox settings, as many settings as possible, especially bookmarks and one that tends to be reliable when it comes to restoring them?

I'm waiting for a average computer that can't be infected with malware unless it's intentionally ........ 5 years later: I am still waiting

Try Mozbackup. This will back up all the settings for firefox, and thunderbird email programs.
Be wary of strong drink. It may make you shoot at tax collectors, and miss!

I have Mozbackup on my computer but haven't got around to trying it yet, I'll give it a go and see what it's like.
