Hi am new here and i would really apreciate any help for removin vundo.
I have norton antivirus 2006 and it found Trojan.Vundo on my comupter i am new at this and really worried as it poses it as a high risk.
Can it infect my system or will it just keep popping random spam windows?
It is a file named jkklljj.dll. it spath is C:\WINNT\system32\jkklljj.dll
i tried removing it but it didn' work so i tried in safeboot many times no luck i also downloaded fixvundo.exe from symantech, but it didn't even find the virus.
i am currently running vundofix.exe i found somewhere on these forums.

PLEASE help me.

Edit: well vundofix worked pretty well norton won't find the virus and i can't see the file too
but i think it takes a little too long to boot up windows and i have read in one of these forums that it happened to someone else so what do i do to make sure i got rid of vundo and how do i speed my computer back up?
thx in advance

Hi,

Sorry you’ve had to wait for a few days but all of the helpers here are volunteers and we’ve been really busy recently.

If you still need help, please post a fresh HijackThis log into this thread so I can make sure nothing has changed and I will be happy to review it for you.

:)
