Just bought a new PC with vista home premium OS. I know Windows now comes with firewall and antispyware functions plus I have mcAfee installed. Is it still advisable to add other software such as spyware guard, spyware blaster, spybot, ad aware and Clean up. I had all these on my old PC and it kept everything running fine but don't know if sensible to put on new machine incase of conflicting with windows programs.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Spybot is no longer recommended due to poor detection rates.

For a firewall, I would choose
