Hi out of all the freeware Software firewall which one will keep the ports close, until
you have authorized a program too open up a port and it must be compatable
w/ CA internet security suite.

Im also useing AT&T as my ISP and my DSL Modem is a Siemens Speedstream
4100, does the modem have a built in Firewall in it , If not which piece of Equipment
can i purchase to place between the Dsl Modem and my computer that has a built in
Firewall in it so i would have a inline hardware Firewall between my Dsl Modem &
Computer.

I realy would like to have both a hardware & software Firewall protecting my computer.

Sincerely
CrazyHorse101

Hello CrazyHorse101. :)

From my understanding, CA Internet Security Suite already has a software firewall bundled in?

Most modems nowadays are NAT-enabled. So they should be able to function as a hardware firewall.

Let me know if you need any more information.
