I found an old link on Wilders Security which redirected me to the old site for this forum. When I went there, I thought it was fishy looking so I left immediately and looked it up online--I found at that it links to rogue antivirus applications.

Do I have anything to worry about; that is, is just going to the site dangerous? I am using Firefox with NoScript and AdblockPlus, and both were enabled when I went to the website. I am currently running MBAM right now, and I have ESET Smart Security, which has not popped up with anything.

I know this is sort of silly, but I am worried. I've never had a problem on this computer, and rogue antiviruses are supposed to be really annoying.

You should be perfectly OK as long as you didn't download anything.

We've tried to get all those old forum links corrected. Can you point me to where the link is at Wilders?

I had been redirected to yeah dot com after mistyping a Wikipedia URL, so I searched for info on it. This was the third site to pop up. What it says does not apply to me (I just found out that what yeah does to get traffic).

Anyway, no, I did not download anything. I'm glad to know I don't have anything to worry about.

Thanks for your response!

LowWaterMark has deleted that link, and he found several others that he fixed. Thanks, LWM. :)
