Forgive me if there is a thread on this already. I looked around and did not see anything.

I am not able to save a message in the personal messaging system in draft form. I can type something as a draft, and when I go to save, I get this message:

The following errors were found
The member can not use the messaging system

This personal message has not been sent

NOTE: I was not trying to send the message, but save it for later.

Not sure if it is a limitation based on my group here (which is fine), or that I don't have something chosen correctly. I'm using Internet Explorer 8.

You could get that message because the person you addressed the PM to is not allowed to send or receive PMs. You could also get the message if the recipient's inbox is full. In other words, the PM you are saving as a draft has to be a deliverable one.

New members and banned members can't use PM or email. After two posts, new members become Full Members.

You hit this one on the dot. :D Essentially, the draft has to be "sendable" before saving. It has to have a title, and a legitimate name as the recipient. Once I did those two steps, it was able to save the draft I was working on.

Thanks again.
