Adding PowerPoint 2003 to Office 2003 Basic

I have a user that has Office 2003 Basic and I need to add PowerPoint 2003. Can I use the Upgrade version of PowerPoint 2003 or do I need to buy the "full" version of PowerPoint 2003? Running Windows XP, SP3.
