This is a great site and even though I'm new, I'm proud to be a member here.
I'm really interested in topics such as Malware inspection, Malware removal, tips and tricks to defending your system when under attack, and sniffing and tracing possible cyberattacks in hopes I can clear up my system in hopes it won't happen again.
I found the article by "Bobbi Flekman" to be very interested. and it makes me want to learn so much more.

I'm looking for books which I can read both online and hardcopy versions for when I'm nearly ready for bed.
Articles would also be good.

Can anyone point me to any? I'm looking to be as ethical as possible. I know a lot of "virus-related" books actually not only teach you how viruses work, but also how to write them!

If anyone could point out some guides. It would be most generous :D

Thanks,
Jason.

You may want to sign up for Boot Camp. Lots of tutorials and tools there and your training will teach you a great deal about malware prevention, detection, and removal. Please read http://www.spywarein...er-groups-here/
