I found Anvi Smart Defender beta on softpedia the day before yesterday. For this software, I only know it is developed by anvisoft team. Is there anyone know this software? Is it free?

See http://www.wildersse...d.php?p=1997043 for a discussion.
If it is IoBit we do not recommend it.
There are lots of well tested excellent free programs.

If it is from IOBit, I recommend dumping it immediately - they are dishonest and totally untrustworthy... They stole code from other legit security companies to create their business and there is some evidence that they engage in a number of rogue behaviors, possibly including installing infections...

Some of us that are involved in hunting and submitting sample to vendors tested this when it first came out. It didn't do very well at all. It actually did rather poor in the test we ran.

This software has been SPAMmed here a couple of times already and it seems likely that Owenbear posted with that purpose as well...

Products that are promoted through spam get bad reviews from me. Two things I hate, malware & spammers.
