Is there such a thing as hardware spyware? I recently sent my computer to the shop for repair, since then it has been behaving quite strangely and slow. I'm wondering if the shop may have installed a hardware spyware(if there is such a thing) in my hardware to spy and steal my info. Is it possible? Or rather is there such a thing? :scratchhead: :scratchhead:

I have reinstalled my Windows Vista since then, would that stop the spyware from working if there is one?

Thank you. :help: :help:

Yes there is... If you suspect your computer has been rigged with something like that, I suggest you take it to someone who you believe is trustworthy to check it out - it is not something we can help you with online... If you suspect that they simply installed some malware, you can certainly read our Instructions and post logs in Malware Removal to ask one of our helpers to take a look...
