I recently started having problems with my computer, flashing of the screen when logging on and then I ran spybot and low and behold there was HelloSpy

and a hot key system for copying files.... I was pissed. I wrote spectorsoft and they took the position they had a right to have downloaded the softeware on my computer. Yet they do not own the rights to my computer I do and all information is confidential. I contacted my attorney, a senator and they finally disabled the software from their end but refused to help me totally remove their crappy software. It uses the hot keys Control-Alt-Shift-S to start the program. Beware of this totally unethical and irresponsible company.

Thank you for this useful warning, chirst2438.  HelloSpy amounts to a keylogger / spyware for mobile devices.  It can only be installed by someone with access to the device and as far as is known, cannot be remotely installed.

It would be a good idea to review the Instructions and post logs in Malware Removal to check for any indication of continued infection - I would not trust their word that it is fully removed...

Please read the Instructions for posting requested logs and the article "So how did I get infected in the first place?"

I love this program HelloSpy it is working great and helping me monitor all the text messages from the monitored phone. I am trying to prevent pornography from getting to my childs phone.

Daisyvo, we deplore the whole idea of spyware and we help people get rid of it.  HelloSpy is regrettable.  Target iOS devices must be jailbroken, and the software costs $99 a year after brief 48 hour free trial.  Obviously it does not prevent pornography from getting on a phone; it just lets you read it.

We do not currently supply help with mobile devices.
