I had a virus on my PC (Windows 8) which was causing it to run extremely slow so I was trying to remove it and I noticed I had some programmes which I thought may have been the cause or may be related to the virus, while deleting some of the program files for these programmes I accidentally deleted some of the laptops drivers and now when I try to boot up my laptop it automatically says
"Attempting automatic repairs" after this is comes up saying "Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC.
Press "advanced options" or try other options to repair your PC or "shut down" to turn off your PC.
Log file: C:\windows\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt"

I read in another topic where a solution was to go into "Advanced Options" - "Troubleshoot" - "Command Prompt" - "cd./Logfiles" - then enter the file name.
For the person in the other topic this seemed to work fine.
But on mine after it comes up in command prompt as "X:Windows\System32\Logfiles>" and I enter "Srt\SrtTrail.txt" it comes up saying
"The system cannot find the path specified.

X:\Windows\System32\Logfiles>"
I am no computer genius and I have tried refreshing & restoring my laptop to fix this problem but it says there is a problem and takes me back to the automatic repair again.
I need my computer for college Ect and need it running again as soon as possible, I am grateful for any help. Thank you
