I'm on the east coast of the United States, and it's about 3 a.m. here, but the time stamp on a post I posted hours ago says 2:53 a.m.

A reply I got says 7:25 a.m. (and I assume the poster is in another time zone.

I've gone to the control panel, and to "settings," but I don't see how to correct this--can anyone help?

P.S. I noticed this post is time stamped "8:06 a.m.," but (as I said) it's about 3 a.m. (now 3:09 a.m.) here.

How do I fix this?

The forum is set to GMT and you need to adjust your settings in your General Account Settings...  If you click on your name in the upper right corner, it will drop down options and one of them is Settings...  Choose that one and adjust your time settings there...  It is the second option in that page...
