Greetings to all and welcome to the Web Summit 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The Web Summit is one of the world's largest entrepreneurship and technology conference held annually since 2009. The company was founded by Paddy Cosgrave, David Kelly and Daic Hickey.
The event started in 2009 in Ireland and was transferred to Portugal in 2016 where it will remain until 2028.
This year the conference theme is centered on Internet technology and will count on the participation of more than 2000 companies and 70000 visitors.
