Guys I've received an email from the old friend and she asked me to lend her some money. I've written her on facebook and she told me she never did this. I think it was some kind of fishing so I started to explore and I've found this article: safetydetective.com/blog/what-is-phishing-and-how-to-protect-against-it. How do you think will these advices help me to protect my notebook? I have only an antivirus AVZ, and it's quite old.

I disabled the link you posted since we do not know you and we do not know if that site poses any danger to our users...

I am not familiar with AVZ, so I don't know how good it is in protecting you...  The main protection against phishing scams is being careful about what you respond to - checking things out before doing what you are told as you did in the case you cited...  If you would like to read more about prevention, read this article:  https://www.spywareinfoforum.com/topic/60955-so-how-did-i-get-infected-in-the-first-place/ Some of the references in the article may be outdated, but there are also a number of good resources at BleepingComputer: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/   I suggest you take a look at them...  In particular, if you do not have an active firewall, I suggest you apply one now...
