Could not open PowerPoint so re-loaded Office 97 but it said it could not find Olemsg.dll in the registry so could not complete the download. So still can not open PowerPoint. Help please

Thanks, found the file and downloaded it into my download files but don't know what to do with it now. I thought in would go where it was supposed to but obviously not the case.

Am just guessing this, but maybe you need to drop the dll file into the folder that contains all the installation files for powerpoint? that way all the relevant files would be together.
