Hi

When I update the AVG (free), Sygate Firewall detect something as below:

08/03/2004 06:41:51 Application Hijacking Information Outgoing TCP free.grisoft.cz [193.86.3.36];

Application Hijacking has been detected
The application: C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG6\avgcc32.exe try to launch another application: C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG6\avginet.exe to go to remote host free.grisoft.cz [COLOR=blue]

Do you know what about this?

Regards

samshek,
"free.grisoft.cz" is AVG 6 (Grisoft) update server.
You can verify by looking at the "url.ini" located in:
C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG6\

BTW, you can add 2 more updates download sites to AVG.
From My Computer, go to Program files, then the Grisoft Folder, then open the AVG6 folder. Locate the URL.ini file, copy & paste it, rename the copy URLini.old

Open URL.ini with Notepad, & replace the content with exactly this

[SERVER_NAME]
1=free.grisoft.cz
2=ftp.grisoft.com
3=www.grisoft.com

[SERVER_URL]
1=http://free.grisoft.cz/softw/60/fe
2=ftp.grisoft.com/pub/softw/60/fe/
3=http://www.grisoft.com/softw/60/fe/
Actual URL=3

Next time you reboot (or just close down & restart AVG), you will have a dropdown menu to get your troublefree updates from www.grisoft.com as default, with 2 other choices if need be.
Failure is not an option, it comes bundled with the software.
