the ONLY way to get rid of it is to clear your _RESTORE file correct?

And this will clean out everything and start it fresh correct?

How the hell can I prevent trojans from getting in there? Is there a way to lock it or something?

Thanks

To remove the infection, follow these steps:
Disable system restore, instructions can be found here.
This will remove all restore points, but this action is necessary to remove the infection from the system restore file.

Reboot

Re-enable system restore, instructions can be found here.
