I'm not asking for admittance today, but please can you post a reply or email me some information?
I recently had Trojan Downloader and Nebuler; Safer Networking Forums helped me clear them out and my system is now clean. I was so impressed that I applied to MRU for training. I'd been looking for voluntary work for a while - I think this is perfect for me to do.
Because I've applied to MRU, does that mean I can't access Boot Camp?
If I can access Boot Camp, what kind of previous knowledge should I have before asking to enter Boot Camp?
How much time should I free-up in order to get the most out of a Boot Camp session?
Thanks, take care

There are many people who are in multiple schools and that is not a problem... We have people enter Boot Camp who know very little about computers and we have people who work with computers 24/7, so there is no predetermined level of knowledge required... There is also no time line for people to finish Boot Camp... We have people who lurk for years and never complete training and we have people who go through as quickly as possible... The program is very much self learning, so you take it at your own pace with as much time as you wish to use... If you want to help at SWI, you do need to complete Boot Camp...Hello

The Boot Camp is a hidden forum where you can learn the ropes and advance to Helper. Experts and others will be there to guide you and answer your questions. A lot of good info there.
Just reply to this thread if you would like to be a Helper Trainee.
An Admin should turn up to admit you within a few hours. Watch for the "Group: Helper Trainee" to show up on the left there, under your name and avatar. (You may need to refresh the page).
Then you will be able to see the Boot Camp and go to Welcome to Boot Camp!
Yes, I am interested in being a Helper. I have a background in desktop support and am A+ certified. Please send me the bootcamp info.
