Hi folks i hope this is the right forum.

I used to goto a webcamsite called www.anywebcam.com.

The site has since introduced porn banner ads which I know is a big red flag with spyware.

Also this cam site asks you to download a java applet to view cams and chat.
A seperate application called the broadcaster must be downloaded to broadcast on the network.

These two java applets I am calling into question for you to review if you could.

While broadcasting my cam, the broadcaster freezes and my hard drive spins wildly. My nortorns warned me that cc and bank information were trying to be transmitted to the internet. Luckily I prevented that info from going out.
I inquired with tech support on the anywebcam site and they said the broadcaster was looking for a "session id" and not taking cc info.

I do not have the technical skill or resources to examine the banners, and java applets.

I was hoping you kind folks could check it out and put my mind and the minds of over 1.5 million members of this camsite at ease.

Thank you for your consideration.

I got a cam about a month ago...and when I clicked on find sites...anywebcam was the only one...I looked around but didn't like the fact you had to download 2 different apps to make it work...so I stayed away. This site is the biggest cam site on the net that I know of.....hope they arn't trying to pull anything...but we've all seen it done before.

Try using an app called 'WebcamXP'...works for me........when I have it on...lol
