You guys are great, and have inspired me to further my studying from A+ and Net+ Certs and on to waging war against spy/adware and beyond. Thanks!!!
I still don't understand all this technical forum stuff you guys do, like adding signatures (whatever that is), pictures, etc. but I guess knowing how to spell and post a boring segment is good enough

See ya all around the SWI

BTW, I was impressed enough on my first visit to send a Paypal contribution to you all. I wish it could be more but...
Best of wishes,

Once her problem was solved, I thought I would enlist in Boot Camp and have loved every moment of my time here since then

Currently playing with new tool I found at Sysinternals called RootkitReveale;don't understand it much but
am worried I have picked up some hidden trash on my PC.
I look for digital artwork on the net. This last week when at one site using their links to more pictures ended up at a porn site.Think they stole the orginal address;anyway sometimes now getting "page cannot be displayed". Sometimes a page just takes so long loading I give up on that page(am on dailup)maybe too much animation, don't know. I regularly run my temp files & cookies through a shredder;also run security scans. But am able to get to most sites so will see.

I know several who come here and have graduated, and have become known and respected trusted advisors.
But I'm new so please don't bite.

I could fix most of my spyware problems myself, but I'm stuck with a startpage that I can't change. It keeps returning to this fake anti-spyware add.
