Thank you, Budfred, for all your support!

Although you are always full of comments for our fixes, we know it is for a good cause. I am very glad that I was changed from being a PC wrecker to a helper.

It was almost completely down to you and your ascerbic comments that I turned from a sad wannabe into the lean mean lethal spyware-killing machine I am today. :D

Budfred,

It has really been a pleasure having you taught us many of the most remarkable things which we will never ever be able to learn had it not been for you. Your utmost dedication and devotion to the forums, as well as for us, are indeed exceedingly praiseworthy!
It is unquestionable upon the role of your task that it is undoubtly unmanageable for us or for me at least, but distinctly not for you. Without you, Boot Camp would not have been as fortuitous as before!

My respect goes out to you Budfred and I wish you the best in your further endeavor!

Thank you for everything, Budfred! :)

Cheers,
Dave

Budfred,

The comments engendered by a thread like this one are not coincidental. You really are the glue that holds this place together --- you are ever dedicated, supportive, and knowledgeable. I have said before that I really admire you, for your tireless devotion to what is largely a thankless job. As with most everyone else here at SWI, much of what I know came singlehandedly from you. And as with absolutely everyone here, I am grateful to you for all your help this past year. I sincerely hope you will remain omnipresent in Boot Camp here, because I still have so much to learn from you. I will endeavor to do even half as good a job as Boot Camp Mod as you did --- if I can attain that, I will consider myself successful. From all of us here at SWI, I say: thank you.

Well here is what im doing. I need to do another log here lol so I can take the test.

Since I have done all of the logs I have learned a lot. I can now read HJT logs very well since I have learned on 3 sites so far.

I now have my own site that is just starting out. Im making a new website on a paid server soon to get it on the go.

I continue to learn here as I find time to read all of the posts you have made.

I'm very sorry to hear that Budfred is stepping down from his role as trainee adviser. Although I've not yet completed the course I really do appreciate his expertise in these matters and I learned a lot from him already in my short time here.

Thank you Budfred for all your help and I hope you enjoy a well earned rest.

Thanks for all the credit people are giving me here... I probably actually deserve some of it...

To clarify: I am not stepping down, I am stepping back... I am still going to be around and responding to my Practice logs, giving feedback and so on... I just don't plan to be quite as active since we now have 2 very capable people to take on many of those Mod tasks...

Budfred,

It's good that you'll have other capable hands sharing the moderating duties in Boot Camp. You have done so much for so long, you really do deserve to step back and let others share the load.

With two other mods around, this will be such a different pace for you, not having to keep watch on everything 24/7. It'll probably feel almost like having a vacation! :p

There is no way I could have ever made it out of Boot Camp without the daily encouragement and teaching of Budfred. I'm sure that goes for many others as well.

When I first came here I knew less than nothing and had no computer training at all.
So, for the greatest part Budfred is to blame for whatever I have become.

Thanks a Million Budfred

Many thanks Budfred. You got me through Boot Camp, questioning, reasoning and, as ever, providing the correct advice.
