wmp 7.1 & search & destroy

Hello to everyone adn thanks for your assistance.

I have Win 98 4.10.98 (not 2nd edition)
Intel Pent II 266mhz w/160mb mem

Windows Media Player 7.1 when I try to launch I get this message:

WMPLAYER caused an invalid page fault in

Then it closes??

When I try to launch Search and Destroy it gives me this message:

WS2HELP.DLL is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:NtsControlFile and then it closes

Hi dedame,

I goggled around. There's a boatload of ppl who've had the same or similar problem.

Heres the search I used.
Here is an interesting approach to fixing it.

I hope this helps. I myself run an older (more stable) version of WMP.
