My computer was working perfectly this morning, until I removed Kasperky Virus program thru the "Add/Remove Programs" option on my computer. The free trial had ended so I removed the program and the subsequent option of "remove streams" that Kasperky had created.

After rebooting, my screen resolution is stuck at 640x480 and the color quality is stuck on lowest 4 bit. I can correct the color in Safe Mode, but not the resolution. However, when I reboot in Normal mode everything is screwed up again.

I tried reinstalling Kasperky Virus program again and rebooting, but it did not help. I am posting a HJT log and would appreciate it if someone could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me.

Thank you,
C.

Well, I think I fixed it after about 5 hours of pulling my hair out. I reinstalled my graphics card and it's drivers and then downloaded all the subsequent drivers for it. After rebooting, everything seems normal.

If there is anything that anyone notices about my HJT log that needs to be cleaned up, I would appreciate any comments so that I can take care of that as well.

Thank you all for always being there and caring enough to help.

C.
