I know this has been asked a few times but why is it that no matter HOW hard I try to get rid of previous visited pages on my internet explorer history it just wont go away.
I know many have suggested to just turn the autofill off. However even if i turn the autofill off, wouldnt there still be some tracks left on my computer?

For instance.
This is a website that I visited like, 7 weeks ago:

Since then, Ive deleted my history, cookies, temporary internet files. Used programs such as CCleaner, BCCleaner, Antitracks. Wipe and Clean but it just wont go away.

Does anyone have a clue to whatsup?
Its not just the page from Amazon. I have Friendster profile pages that I visited months ago that are still looming on my address bar just waiting for autofill to complete the address....

Id really appreciate some tips! thanks!

Hello and welcome to SWI forums,

Have you tried going to IE, Tools, Internet Options, Content, Auto Complete.
then afterwords please download this CleanUp 4.0 and run it, log off then log back on and see if they are still there..
Hope this helps

Edit.. Sorry did not see you used cccleaner.. Have you done this?

Inside internet tools, go to the advanced tab, then under settings:Browsing, Turn the Use inline AutoComplete setting off by selecting or clearing its check box.

Here is a screen shot just in case

Thanks for the tip.

I tried using CCleaner after I got it and it didnt work, then I tried again a few days later and it worked. Weird eh?

Anywho, thanks for the reply! I really appreciate it.
