hello, guys... I've discovered this forum and I think it's my last chance...

You see.. I have a Windows XP Pro. About 2 weeks ago I bought a new processor (Pentium 4 , 2.4 gh) and a new mother board (gygabyte)... well, I installed 'em and it began to restart by itself...
then I formated the hard drive but it kept doing it.. (so it wasn't a virus).. I took it to a technician but he couldn't find anything wrong... he says it could be the memory... and the interesting thing is that it doesn't have a specific time... it may restart in the first minute or ina couple of hours, and when it happen, it is of a sudden...(sorry for my english).

After restarting, it sends me a message error... something like :
C: /DOCUME-1/Van)/CONFIG-1/Temp/WER6C41.dir00/Mini102505-01.dmp and
C:/ DOCUME-1/Van)/CONFIG-1/Temp/WER6C41.dir00/sysdata.xml

dunno what it means... well guys, any help will be appreciated...

oh, also, The cpu temperature, when I check in the Bios is about 47 C...

What's the rating on the Power Supply?
What was the spec of the old MB and CPU.
It could just be just a case of the old PSU not having enough power to take care of your new power hungry MB and CPU.
Just guessing mind you but have seen this in the past. Would need more info just to be sure.
What other devices are connected into the PSU?
Cheers
