My computer was working fine until my brother went and upgraded the RAM to 2gb (the max our aging motherboard can handle).

- windows restarts at random intervals (even in safe mode). When I login again, it tells me that Windows has recovered from a serious error.
- WMP, IE shut down at random intervals

I have looked through the other threads and suspect it has something to do with the power supply, or the memory itself.

So I've got two questions
1. What is it?
2. How would I go about fixing it??
