I would like to know if I can insert image when i post a topic. Sometimes it's usefull if I can include a thumbnail of a little jpeg picture (size maybe 20x50 pixels). For example, I'm having some buttons missing at my taskbar, and I want to send the Taskbar image with the missing arrow button at this forum. How can I do that? I previously sent a topic and attached a jpeg file of screenshot of my folders, and I guess it takes up many space. I realise that 'my global space' is only 6.04k left..... Does that mean I have not much space left to post topics? How can I regain my 100% global space?

So, I hope by inserting thumbnail picture, I can decrease my post.
I dont know how the 'Insert Image' button works, cos when I clicked at it, I was asked to type in URL?
I hope I can insert image like the way I can insert an emoticon when I post topic in future.
Pls advice...
Thanks a lot.

Sure. Use the browse button below the frame if you want to upload an image; Use the 'Insert image' to link in an image (the button looks like a tree).

To regain your space, go to your other post and edit it to remove the old image.

Does that need to be in .gif format rather than as a jpeg? Jpeg's were turned off a while back; is that format still disabled?

You can use just about any attachment type except Shockwave (.swf). Test it out in the Text forum - those posts get deleted after a week or so.

(For linked images you can only use .gif or .png).
