I just took this test (shields up) on Gibson website, and Everything is stealthed as should be but on this >>>> Ping Reply: RECEIVED (FAILED) Your system REPLIED to our Ping (ICMP Echo) requests, making it visible on the Internet. Most personal firewalls can be configured to block, drop, and ignore such ping requests in order to better hide systems from hackers. This is highly recommended since "Ping" is among the oldest and most common methods used to locate systems prior to further exploitation.

Should I find out how to block or ignore these Ping requests or is it ok the way it is?

ICMP Echos, as already stated, have long been used for target recons and some ISP's will even filter them out. That being said, unless there is some reason that you would require it, I would recommend that you block them.

Hope is not a method.
